Google Search Console is a free tool from Google that shows you exactly how your site appears in search results – which pages are ranking, what people are searching for when they find you, and whether Google can properly crawl your site.
Without it, you’re flying blind. I’ll get it set up, verified, and configured correctly so you have a direct line of sight into your site’s search performance from day one.
What’s included:
- Google Search Console setup and verification on your WordPress site
- Sitemap submission so Google can discover and index your pages efficiently
- Bing Webmaster Tools setup at no extra charge – a quick win that extends your visibility beyond Google
- Confirmation that data is flowing and the property is verified correctly
As a bonus, Bing Webmaster Tools is included at no extra charge. It’s a small extra step that most people skip – and a straightforward way to make sure your site is visible on the second-largest search engine too. (Note: ChatGPT primarily uses Microsoft Bing as its third-party search provider, alongside its own custom web crawler (OAI-Searchbot) and direct data partnerships.)
Planning to manage your site’s tracking in one place? Add GTM & Event Tracking setup, migrate your Search Console verification to fire through Google Tag Manager – cleaner and easier to manage long term.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between Google Analytics and Google Search Console?
They do different things. Google Analytics (GA4) shows you what happens on your website – how many visitors, where they came from, which pages they read. Google Search Console shows you how your site appears in Google search – which keywords trigger your pages to appear, how often people click, and whether Google has any problems accessing your site. For a complete picture, you want both.
Why do I need this if I already have GA4?
Because they measure completely different things. GA4 starts recording the moment someone arrives on your site. Search Console shows what happened before the click – the search query, your position in the results, your click-through rate (CTR). It’s the only way to see what Google actually thinks of your pages.
How long before I start seeing data?
Search Console can show data going back up to 16 months, but only once it’s verified. Some data appears within a day or two of verification; the full picture builds up over time. The sooner it’s set up, the sooner you have useful data to work with.
Why is Bing included? Does Bing really matter?
Bing has a smaller market share than Google, but it’s not negligible – particularly for desktop users and in certain regions. More importantly, Bing Webmaster Tools takes me about 10 minutes to set up once your Search Console is live, so it’s a genuine bonus, not filler.
How long will this take?
1 – 2 working days (after receiving admin login details).
